  • The Gore Hotel, located on W. Pike and S. Second Streets in downtown Clarksburg, initially served as a prestigious hotel in the 1920s.
  • It was built in 1913 by Truman E. Gore and Howard M. Gore, Governor of West Virginia and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, respectively.
  • The 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors have been rehabilitated from multiple small hotels into seven separate luxury apartments per floor with one, two, and three-bedroom options.
